i was chatting with my sheep on the phone just now(: i was really very touched by what she said, how God has transformed her life, and her thanksgiving heart(: praise God and thank God for blessing her in my life!(: hey pauline! though you might not understand this but, “jia you”!!!(: love you!!(:

the law of sowing and reaping

laws of “something” never change, so is the law of sowing. the law of sowing is you reap what you sow(: that simple and this teaching is really very fundamental, however, this is a good reminder for me. i totally agree that its never a sacrifies to pray, its never a sacrifies to serve God’s people, its never a sacrifies to do God’s work.God saw everything, and whatever we do, its never a sacrifies ! Also, whatever we do its all for God’s sake! and we have a common goal which is to fufil the commandment. Thus, whatever role we have doesn’t matter. As long as the kingdom of God grows, its worth it.(: prayer is part of sowing. and when we pray something will surely happen!

so Lord, jes is going to give a blank paper to you! lead me in prayer(:

whee~ 9 more days to end of my ‘o’ levels!(: i’m really looking forward to it not just about playing, but i really really really hope to do more for God(: hees! this week we have our cg in a special way, we have our games played at the carpark next to my block(: it was indeed fun and memorable!! i didn’t know i’m so “tanned” that i looked so “white” after playing the flour! lols~ it was really fun to see all of us so white hees.. can’t upload in my blog): don’t know why..

suddenly, i really miss this person a lot, even though we often saw each other, haha i really tresure this friendship a lot(: she is none other then xis!(: really hope to catch up with you buddy!(: sorry that i neglected you! love you!(:

Looking on the bright side

i;m really very negative.. many unhappy things just makes me think so negative.  and today, many things happened, however, this time i choose to look on the positive side, and indeed things were different! not going to be defeated! standing strong!

Galatians 6:9- ” LET US NOT BECOME WEARY IN DOING GOOD, FOR AT A PROPER TIME WE WILL REAP A HARVEST IF WE DO NOT GIVE UP ” ! (:

Reflections

Today was a tiring day for me, however it was also a fruitful day for me too! i’ve learnt a lot from God’s word and his people(: First of all, is about what i’ve also learnt from, which is during my english lesson(:, we did something different today, its something like.. comprehension? but doesn’t have to flip back to the passage, and doesn’t have summary.. lols teacher gave us three short passages, probably from one true-life story book? the main title is called “contribution” . “All men should strive to learn before they die, what they are running from, and to, and why” -JAMES THURBER  these passages are all about how these three different person- John Baker, Sister Antonia & Vendran Smailovic whom made a pivotal choice which was significant. John Baker, who was one of the fastest runner,suffered from cancer, stand firm and make a decision to use his last few months to help others to fufill their dreams, and Sister Antonia who choose to live in prison, to help and counsel the prisoners, Vendran Smailovic, who chose to stand out in the midst of battle( war ), to play beautiful music, to meet the people’s emotional needs. God gave them test, and how they make a significant decision that help others. They can choose to be a spectator, but they choose to be a contributor. I was reflecting, what about me? Am i satisfied with what i’m doing now? do i want to be a by-stander or a participant of CG08? Today, i’ve also learnt from CG- about inward-looking and outward-looking. which relates to what i’ve reflected. Many a times, many of us tends to care about ourselves before thinking and putting ourselves in other people’s shoes. thats the cunner nature of men i guess. and i reflected too, i’m one of them. many a times, i only care about how i feel and i affect the one who loves me a lot.. and this verse strucked me a lot! although i’ve learnt and taught that teaching a lot of times, but this verse strucked me hard today! its “Each of you should look not only to your own interest, but also to the interest of others.”- Philippians 2:4 not just think about yourself but also think for others.- not being selfish. Also, as i was on my way home with shazalind, i’ve really witnessed how God have transformed this girl’s life! she has changed and grown! to be more caring, and put others before her,and grown to be more mature and have a desire to grow God’s kingdom and wanted to be a good instrument for God to use. No matter how sick she is, no matter how tired she is, she never give up and she have faith and wanted to expand God’s kingdom!

All this even motivates and convicts me to work even harder and stand even stronger, God, i want to glorfiy your name,i want to be an instrument for you to use,to impact and influence the people around me! i’m no longer living in my own world, help me! to overcome this once and for all!

many a times, because we are imperfect, we often get distracted by the other things in the world, and get tempted, slowly because of us getting too in depth with the thing, our relationship with God was getting to stray apart, slowly God is not longer in our boundery,  however, God is a faithful God, and he loves us more than anything else, and these few days, i’ve learnt that with God in the centre of all aspect of my life, everything will be in placed. and even in tough time, those who laugh it off, are blessed.

Jesus, you are so beautiful to me.. Jesus, i’m leaving everything onto your hands, come and take the wheel, lead me where you want me to be, i’m no longer on my own, lead me! lead me where you want me to be, holy spirit continue to fill me, i want to be an instrument to impact and influence people to expand your kingdom, change me, mould me, make me to be more and more like you! more of you and less of me.

Last saturday , i’m very convicted to buy some inspiring books to read, and i bought two!! currently i’m reading this book called;”developing the Leader within you” by John C. Maxwell. chapter 1 , its about the defination of Leadership; everyone talks about it; few understand it. Most people wants it but few achieve it. perhaps some of us know one, we try to copy his/ her behaviour and describe leadership as a personality. but i have learnt from this book, leadership is influence. and as i was reading, there’s an illustration of the differences between a “Boss” & a ” Leader”.

The boss drives his workers; the leader coaches them.

The boss depends on authority; the leader on good will.

The boss inspire fear; the leader inspire enthusiasm,

The boss says’I’; the leader ,’WE’.

The boss knows how it is done; the leader shows how.

The boss says,’Go!’; the leader says,” Let’s go!”

God, help me to be a better leader, use me to impact and influence people.
