Our God

i was reflecting and thinking through, God didn’t said that it’s going to be easy and convinent to serve him(: but, our God longs to be with us! he wants us to be in his presence(: how to get to be even more intimate with God, is through reading his word and pray. what’s prayer with God? it means comunicating with God. i agree,  from the book;” TOO BUSY TO PRAY” that prayer is an unatural activity. why? since young, we learn the rules of self-reliance, but prayer is important! Naturally,we will come to know God better when we start to pray. we will be endeared by his care, stilled by his presence, encouraged by his affirmation and challenged by his insatiable desire to make the truth known.

God’s character will be revealed to us more and more as we cultivate a life of prayer! As we seek God, we will be refreshed and strengthened! our Prince of Peace will bless us the peace that we need. As we pray, God will also empowered us. Our God, is more than willing to hear our cry, to help us. Our God is able!

The GOd that we serve, is always there for us, to help us.Psalms 121:1-2

” i lift up my eyes to the hills-where does my help comes from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.”

We do pray, but often we give up too soon in praying. We know that God loves us,thus we seek him.However, we will often fall back and try to face our problems on our own. we need to have faith in God, that he’s ABLE! and keep praying!

1 Thessalonians 5:17

“Pray continually;”

WA2, let’s keep praying! and rely on God! our God is able! he’s more than willing to help and guide us! No matter what happens, let’s seek God and allow him to take control!

“if we can spent 1 day with Jesus, we can spend everyday with Jesus!”

victorious because of a vision(:

once, we have lose our vision, we will perish! History is filled with examples if people who, tough the accomplished great things; lost sight of their vision. when Alexander the great had vision, he conquered countries; when he lost his vision, he couldn’t a liquor bottle. when David had a vision, he conquered Goliath; and when he lost his vision, he couldn’t conquer his own lust. when samson had a vision, he won many battles; when he lost his visionhe couldn’t win his battle with delilah. when solomon had a vision, he was the wisest man in the world; when he lost the dream God had given him, he couldn’t control his own evil passion for foreign women.when saul has a vision, he could conquer kings; when he lost his vision, he couldn’t conquer his own jealousy.when noah had a vision; he could build an ark and help keep the human race on track; when he lost his vision , he got drunk.

the poorest person in the world is not the person who doesn’t have money, but is the one who doesn’t have a vision, – if you don’t have a dream;goal and a purpose in your life you’re never going to become who you could become.

God thank you for the vision that you’ve given me!

Running in this race with God

 

These few days have been fruitful days for me! i’ve learnt a lot, be it in cg and even blog surfing! yesterday, i went to join De wen( our cool leader!) ‘s caregroup. its normal, as in the normal flow of a cg; charing->games->p&w->sharing->challenge->announcement. however, he’s very creative! he make it interesting and make it into a “package” as in whatever roles it is, it links back to his objectives and i can see everyone’s perspective and convictions changed! that they want to put their love for God into actions(: praise the LOrd!

Also, in addtion, i’ve learnt from someone’s blog; “To sustain through this race, it’s not about how much you can endure, but how much joy can you find in such a long haul run” i really agree in this sentence! really, its never about how much you’ve done and how tiring this race is! its how much joy you can find in such a long haul run! also, Jesus is our JOY! and our joy should not be of circumstances! Heb 13:8-“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” and Jesus is our Joy!, he never changed so is our joy! True joy is that even in storm we still can smile! So, if we are running in this race with God, we should be joyful and not having a grumbling heart! if, you do have a grumbling heart, please go and do some self-reflections!

“Enjoy your ministry with him, enjoy your daily frustrations with him, enjoy your daily happenings, in short, find the joy in living life with God.”

Also, as i was reading another blog;

“what we taking care of now is not just a “sheep” by name or just a convert to Christ.
but its a soul, a human infact.
God trust us so much that he’s willing to entrust a soul under us.
will you give your beloved children to someone else to take care “totally”?
even if we will, if the person didnt take care well what will you do?
nothing beats experiencing God and bringing others to experience his love (!)”

yeah! its never about a task, but really the love of God for his precious people that makes us want to win his people and grow his people to reach out to even more people! i’ll also play my part! and not be a by-stander in this race! we are fighting from victory!

“if you had a bank account and i were to tell you that every morning someone was going to put $86,400 into that bank account-you could spent it any way you wanted to, but at the end of the day, whatever money you had not spend in that account, you lost-do you think you’d try to spent it ? or do you think you’d let it go to waste?” But guess what? all of us were given 86,400 seconds from God! do we want to waste it? or use it meaningfully? i will want to use it meaningfully! i know we don’t really have much time left! every single day on earth is very precious to us! so is the 86,400 seconds which is given by our AWESOME GOD! i’m going to participate!

God! everyday ! still “chanting” for completion of chestnut by end december! in Jesus’s name! i prayed! AMEN!!(:

Thank you for blessing so many precious ones in my life! thank you for those who has sent me sms!! thanks you a lot! really! thank God for jiajia,vanessa, shi hui and wei xian for the cake! and thank God for dewen, gina,fong yee and the 2 north brothers for going extra miles to yishun to celebrate my birthday! thanks for the cake too! i really enjoyed myself today!! really! thanks for all the smses,encouragements and cakes!! Also, i really really want to thank God for my dear parents!!! for bringing me to yishun to celebrate! we had thai food for dinner, pineapple rice, mai pian xia,fried fish, kang kong, last but not least, my fave! TOM YAM!(: i like spicy and sour food! especially tom yam(: hees, also, yeah my aunt blessed me with 50 bucks!!! haha! shopping time! lols.

today is the last day of my “o” level exam!! whee! also today is also another memorable day with my best buddy-> xis(: we went to haji lane to shop! we spent more than 15mins to find this place, but its just near the raffles hospital! where both of us were at, before we went to find this place=.= haha but there’s a lot of beautiful clothes,bags,shoes and even wallet! however, all of these items were very expensive. i was attracted to a bag, guess how much it cost? 169! and every clothes we like are more than 50 bucks!)”: after much disappointment, we decided to go to bugis street and shop, praise God,finally we bought something after whole day of shopping(: i bought a dress, and xis bought a high-waist short(: hees
